Hands free Bottle feeding?!

Have you seen anything quite like this?

The Podee – it’s a bottle system which allows baby to feed whilst in an upright position. Management of reflux depends largely on upright or elevated positioning for baby and these bottles are ideal for feeding upright!

The blurb......Although not a substitution for breastfeeding, the ‘Podee’ bottle is a revolutionary feeding system that may help babies who struggle to feed with conventional feeding equipment or who are struggling to cope with having a traditional teat/bottle in their mouth. The Podee bottle system allows the baby to be fed in an upright or semi-upright position which reduces colic and reflux as well as ear infections. It is also fantastic to use for twins or multiples as it leaves you hands-free to touch your babies, wind one baby while feeding another or just cuddle both babies while they are feeding.

We also heard from a few mums who had used these bottles to help their babies overcome the a fear of putting a bottle to their mouth, as they associated the activity with the pain reflux was creating. Using  Podee was more like putting a dummy in the mouth and not having the bottle near the face or in eyesight was helpful.
