Product Description

Positioning and inclining the upper body of your little one is the single most important thing when trying to manage reflux. By having the head gently raised gravity helps keep the stomach acids down and stops them elevating up to the throat. The gentle Lift Safely Cot Wedge is purpose made to do exactly this.

The foam is made from Combustion Modified High Resilience 25 density (CMHR25) and is hypo-allergenic. It comes with a cotton cover that can be washed at 60 degrees to kill dust mites.

Simply position the cot wedge under the sheet in the cot to gently elevate baby’s head and upper body. Fantastic for babies with acid reflux or congestion helping your baby to breathe easier and be much more comfortable.

If your baby moves during sleep or rolls in the cot, try using a wedge with a baby sleep positioner - purchase them together and save at least 10%.

Upright Positioning for your baby can also reduce wind, colic and alleviate congestion. The incline positioning of your baby will also help with the treatment of ear infections, common colds, respiratory conditions and sleep apnea. 

The gentle Lift Safely Cot Wedge is available in 5 sizes, each provides a rise of 7.6cm (about 15 degrees of angle) with the exception of the Ultra which is a massive 25cm in height (30 degree angle).

  • Moses wedge: 28cm wide x 30cm long (Oval rounded head section)
  • Carry Cot/Changing Mat wedge: 38cm wide x 30cm long (Oval rounded head section)
  • Cot wedge: 60cm wide x 40cm long
  • Cot Bed wedge: 70cm wide x 40cm long
  • Ultra Cot Wedge: 60/70cm wide x 45cm long (see note below *)

 

Spare covers are available when you purchase the wedge or separately.

* Please note: The Ultra 30 Degree Cot Wedge must be used in conjunction with a sleep wrap such as the Snoozzz Sleep Wrap. It is not possible or safe to use this wedge alone without your baby being secured.

Oval Shaped Cot?
If you have an oval or round cot like the Leander or Stokke range, we can produce a wedge to fit for you. Simply get in touch with us!

No memory foam is used in any of our wedge or positioner products. Memory foam should not be used in a baby cot for any reason!

      The wedge arrived very quickly and we have now used it for 2 nights. My daughter slept 9hrs the first night and a massive 11hrs the second night despite having a cold. She was previously waking several times in the night as uncomfortable due to reflux. I would recommend this product to any parent struggling with reflux.

      our son used to suffer from bad reflux from the day he was born, luckily for us, friend of mine has recommended this wedge to us.its brilliant as it enabled our baby to keep most of his milk down.

      I bought this is conjuction with the bebecal sleep positioner. I find that the positioner doesn't work all that well on the slope of the wedge and my little one still ends up a bit sideways... however, since using the wedge (last 5 days) my 10 week old has slept for 5-6 hours at a time when previously had only slept for 3-4 hours due to reflux. She also goes back to sleep much more quickly so I am not spending half the night walking round with her on my shoulder!

    5. Not just for babies with reflux

      Have had constant trouble getting new baby to settle himself and sleep through the night. Normally gets up every 2 hours.

      After 9 months we decided to try a wedge but he doesn't suffer from reflux and since using the wedge (3 days), baby is able to get himself off to sleep and only gets up once in the night which a quick blast of the mobile sends him off again.

      The wedge has saved my sanity as I am no longer sleep deprived. THANK YOU!!

      Service from babyreflux.co.uk was also excellent. Dispatch very quickly with email confirmations send at each packing and delivery stage.

      The 2nd night we had this product my son slept through from 9.30pm to after 7am for the first time since he was born (he's 5 months old) and I didn't have to get up to him once (no groaning in his sleep, shifting trying to get comfortable, crying out etc)! The 2nd night was the same and I'm hoping this isn't just coincidence but down to this cotbed wedge (which I suspect it is!) THANK-YOU for this great product.

      My son really suffers from nasal congestion due to his reflux and sleeping on the wedge practically eliminates it. Wherever we go, it comes too!
